What is Customs and Excise?

Customs Company has very important influence to any trading shipment. It includes domestic or international trading. Yet, customs usually related with goods shipment. After that, it will continue to any procedures, which legally made by the government. Customs and Excise refer to customs duties and exercise duties. It means that each country around the world has their Customs and Excise, for example, in United Kingdom, the Customs and Excise is Majesty Customs and Excise, in Ghana is customs, Excise and Preventive Service, in Hong Kong is Customs and Excise Department and soon. Customs duties here related with the tariff would be given to any goods shipment.
In other hand, excise duties related with the excise of tax or a special tax. Tax here will be specified based on any specific goods, in other hand a tax of a good produced for sale or sold. In other case, customs and excise also includes indirect tax. Indirect tax means the producer or seller that is expected to try to recover the tax. It includes for producer or seller. They way is by raising the price by the buyer or by shift or pass on the tax. Therefore, from this short explanation, you will know what the different between customs and excise better.
